Step 3: role-play training

Building clinical confidence through guided skills practice

Once you’ve completed the video course, the next step is a full-day, interactive role-play workshop. This is where the theory of CAMS becomes practice, helping you build confidence in applying the framework safely and effectively with real service users.

Delivered by experienced CAMS trainers, the session focuses on using the Suicide Status Form (SSF) in live clinical scenarios. You’ll explore what it feels like to work collaboratively with someone in suicidal distress, while receiving structured guidance and feedback in a supportive environment.
